Selecting CVI Interventions
Selecting CVI Interventions
This course equips educators with the skills to assess and support students with Cerebral/Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) by focusing on the 16 visual behaviors that impact accessibility.
Learners will explore how these behaviors affect learning and how to implement tailored interventions based on individualized assessment findings. The course emphasizes that interventions must be unique to each student and integrated across curriculum areas. Additionally, participants will understand the importance of ongoing assessment to adapt interventions as needed.
By the end of the course, educators will be able to assess, select, and apply appropriate strategies to help each student with CVI succeed.
